OptiLayer

  • Preview function is now available in the database window, this sub-window is detachable and can be placed arbitrary. All items of all database have preview, either graphical, or a text summary.
  • New type of ThVar materials added. In this case the material has some profile (for example, defined by the deposition parameters and process properties). It allows to work with Quasi-Rugates in the frame of conventional multilayer coatings definition (leaving the concepts of layers and layer numbers compatible with conventional case).
  • Output of the monitoring spreadsheet to MOCCA format added.
  • In Scientific mode it is possible to consider substrates with Im(n) < 0. For this it is necessary to enable this mode with right-click menu in the Substrate material editor.
  • The evaluation of phase difference on transmission is implemented. This value is calculated as a difference of phases at the substrate boundary between the wave propagated through a coating and the wave propagating the same distance in the incident medium replacing the coating.
  • Duv value calculation (used together with correlated color temperature as a smallest distance from the current (u, v) point in CIE YUV (1960) color space to the Planckian locus. The sign of this value is positive when the (u, v) point is above the Planckian locus, and negative when it is below.
  • Material Editor: formula coefficient are stored even if the material file switched to table mode. It helps to restore the initial settings of formula coefficients, for this it is enough to switch back to formula table and select the old types of the formula.
  • Table Simplify command added to Layer material and substrate editors. This command allows to reduce the number of spectral points in the spreadsheet and therefore to accelerate a bit computations and to make output files simpler for the management. The simplification is controlled by the desired number of points, the discrepancies between simplified and initial dispersion curves is evaluated on-the-fly in order to select an optimal simplification level.
  •  Fixed Integrals, Values problem when phase averaged characteristic values were less than min or higher than maximum due to wrapping of phase.
  •  Fixed a bug related to vacuum materials. When a corresponding material in the database was renamed or deleted, the name of the vacuum material remained orphaned in the General Information window and in the Arrange Materials dialog.
  •  Longer wavelength values allowed (frequencies down to 30 MHz).
  • Added Environment option at the last page of the BBM and Monochromatic simulators. It allows to compare the final spectral curve with the theory in theoretical environment or in situ one. In addition, the switch to vacuum material and monitoring chip is performed more logically: during the Yield analysis the depositions are performed in vacuum, while the estimation of quality is performed with initial theoretical materials and substrate configuration.
  •  Tuning of the user interface for workstations with two and more monitors having different scaling factors.
  • Added ability to customize the database spreadsheet. In particular it is possible to adjust the visibility of columns and to add on-the-fly parsing of names with the help of a separator symbol ( ‘_’ – underscore ba default). New columns can be added to the database spreadsheet view, and the data can be additionally filtered using these columns. More complicated and flexible filtering capabilities added to the database, it significantly improves work with large databases.

 OptiRE

  • In Scientific mode it is possible to consider substrates with Im(n) < 0. For this it is necessary to enable this mode with right-click menu in the Substrate material editor.
  • Added the ability to decode angular and polarization information from the column headers during Excel file import. This information should be encoded in Agilent-compatible style XXXX YYYYY, there XXXX is the angle of incidence, and YYYYY is the definition of polarization (angle of the polarizer). When YYYYY is 90 degrees, P-case should be considered, otherwise S-case. If YYYYY is missing, one should consider the average polarization.
  • Added “Specification & Measurement” window. It allows to compare a set of measurements with specifications. At the Spreadsheet tab one can see the list of measurements fulfilling the specification, and the list of measurements out of specifications with the list of wavelength regions where the specifications are violated.
  •  Fixed BBM import for cases, when scan ID was saved with increment different from 1. It happens in some new dataset prepared by BBM software from LZH.
  •  Implemented SignalTerminate and GetCurrentCalcMetrics COM methods in order to better control computations from external code.
  •  Preview function is now available in the database window, this sub-window is detachable and can be placed arbitrary. All items of all database have preview, either graphical, or a text summary.
  • A memory leak during repeated calls of LoadAfterLayer COM interface function fixed.
  • Material Editor: formula coefficient are stored even if the material file switched to table mode. It helps to restore the initial settings of formula coefficients, for this it is enough to switch back to formula table and select the old types of the formula.
  • Implemented more advanced decoding of the characteristics and polarization information from the Excel spreadsheet captions.
  •  Import of Perkin-Elmer DSP files added. It is performed also with Perkin-Elmer file import command.
  •  Longer wavelength values allowed (frequencies down to 30 MHz).
  •  Improved import of Perkin-Elmer files created in countries, where decimal separator is comma.
  •  Measurement – Specification option completely redesigned. Now it is able to compare the specifications and measurements of arbitrary complexity. Multiangle measurements and multiangle specifications with different characteristics at each page are supported. The results are displayed at separate pages (tabs) in order to show better the violations of the specifications.
